Quality System

AMD strives for the highest product quality to ensure complete customer satisfaction. The company operates in conformity with the ISO 9001:2015 standard, certified by TUV InterCert.

The quality system is overseen by the Quality Manager, who plans and coordinates the following activities:

• Development, dissemination, and updating of the quality manual and system procedures;
• Quality control of incoming materials, during production, and before final delivery;
• Quality control for outsourced manufacturing processes;
• Preparation of the final product documentation as requested by customers;
• Execution of NDTs (VT, PT, UT, MT, X-rays, and γ-rays);
• Monitoring and qualification of suppliers.

The quality department operates independently to provide the required quality assurance, with specialised personnel carrying out all inspections and tests.

AMD International holds ASME authorisations for the construction of pressure vessels (designations U and U2). The company is also authorised to apply the “NB” mark and to register boilers, pressure vessels, or other pressure-retaining objects with the National Board in compliance with its regulations.

AMD is also certified to UNI EN ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, EN 1090-1:2009+A1:2011, EN 1090-2:2018, and EN ISO 3834-2.
